Mediterranean Bronze is a warm, mid-tone bronze that is lighter and redder than oil rubbed bronze. The two are different finishes and will not match side by side. Use the Moen finish code on each product page to keep a set consistent.

Mediterranean Bronze is Moen's lighter, warmer bronze, with a reddish mid-brown tone. It is a signature finish of traditional Moen series and suits bathrooms with warm wood vanities, beige or terracotta tile and brass accents. The collection also lists Mediterranean Bronze pieces that are sold out at the moment: a Banbury Roman tub faucet, Tiffin, Finney and other two-handle bathroom faucets, a Brecklyn Posi-Temp tub and shower set with a Magnetix handheld, and a Noell pulldown kitchen faucet.

Not the same as oil rubbed bronze

Oil rubbed bronze is darker and closer to black. Mediterranean Bronze is lighter and redder. The two look noticeably different side by side, so choose one for the room.

Finding matching pieces

Because Mediterranean Bronze is less common than chrome or nickel, it is worth buying the pieces you need together. Staying within one series gives the closest color match between faucet and shower. Two series have more than one piece in stock here: Hilliard (a tub and shower faucet and a bathroom faucet) and Caldwell (a shower faucet set and a Roman tub faucet).
