Valve required, sold separately. This is a trim kit (the visible handle, plate and fixtures). It installs on a Moen M-CORE rough-in valve, which is not included. This is an M-CORE 2-Series trim: one handle that controls temperature only (no separate volume control). Before ordering, make sure a compatible Moen M-CORE rough-in valve is already installed, or order one separately.
The Moen UT2181 is a Dartmoor single-handle valve trim in Chrome for M-CORE 2-Series tub and shower systems. It finishes a Moen M-CORE rough-in valve in the shower or tub/shower area. It suits bathroom remodels or replacing worn trim on a compatible U130 or U140 Series valve.
